New website sdjilm.cz: a unified digital platform for cultural life in Jilemnice

Cultural institutions in Jilemnice had long operated on several separate websites, which complicated content management, visitor orientation, and further service development. Our goal was to create a unified platform that connects all organizations under the SD Jilm umbrella and enables their gradual integration into one modern solution.

Brief

SD Jilm needed a new website that would:

• unify the presentation of all organizations under SD Jilm,
• enable gradual migration of individual websites without service disruption,
• simplify content management for editors,
• improve the clarity of the program and visitor orientation.

Solution

We designed and built the new website sdjilm.cz as a modular platform enabling the gradual onboarding of individual institutions. First, the websites for SD Jilm and Kino 70 Jilemnice were launched, followed by the integration of Informační centrum Jilemnice, and finally Městská knihovna Jaroslava Havlíčka joined the platform.

Each organization has its own content section with a distinct visual style on the website, yet they all share a common technology platform, event calendar, and content management system. This makes it easy to publish events across institutions and present the city's cultural program clearly in one place.
