Dotykačka is one of the leaders in the field of POS systems. It offers solutions focused on restaurants, retail, services and other operations and has more than 25,000 active customers across the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland under Dotykačka Holding. The company emphasizes the quality, simplicity, speed and reliability of its products. Their systems support a wide range of functionalities, streamlining daily operations — from warehouse management to advanced payment integrations.
Dotykačka focuses on delivering a high-quality and reliable POS system for a diverse customer base. To maintain this standard and concentrate on enhancing its core product, it sought a partner capable of developing integrations tailored to its customers' specific needs.
Since 2018, we've received over 20 collaboration leads from Dotykačka, many of which have turned into successful projects. One of the first was integrating their POS system with the accounting software Flexibee for the company GreenButik .
In 2021, we began working with Designex Group on a project to integrate Dotykačka with Google Sheets. However, mutual satisfaction with the results turned this initial collaboration into a long-term partnership. For their ReFresh Bistro , the largest chain of school bistros in the Czech Republic (operating more than 100 branches), we created a web app in 2024 that allows customers to manage their loyalty accounts.
We developed, and continue to refine, two plugins for Dotykačka — for WooCommerce and Shoptet . Both provide automatic synchronization of products and stock movements between the e-shop and Dotykačka's POS system. This helps customers seamlessly track inventory, manage sales across platforms, and minimize errors caused by manual data handling.
Another challenge involved migrating product databases from the O2 eKasa POS system in 2020, which was being phased out at the time. We developed a Kotlin module that converted export files from O2 eKasa into a format compatible with Dotykačka. This solution allowed customers to seamlessly transfer extensive product databases to the new system, significantly simplifying the transition and saving time.
Our collaboration with Dotykačka expanded the customization options of their POS, tailoring it to meet individual customer needs. With our integrations and plugins, Dotykačka users can automate the management of e-commerce platforms or accounting systems, saving time and allowing them to focus more on their core business operations.
