Using PWA, we simplified the use of ReFresh Bistro's loyalty system on mobile – without the high costs of native applications

How to streamline service for thousands of customers while offering a smooth digital experience – without the high cost of developing a mobile app?

That's exactly the challenge we helped solve for ReFresh Bistro – the largest (not only) school bistro network in the Czech Republic, serving over 40,000 students daily across more than 90 school bistros.

The key requirement was to allow customers to show QR codes of their loyalty cards directly from their phones, so staff could quickly scan them at the checkout.

To make it easier for students to access their cards without repeatedly opening the website, we designed a solution in the form of a Progressive Web App (PWA).
